I've been battling facial hair for 25 years! I typically wax my upper lip and chin. But after 4 kids I've been left with even more facial hair on my cheeks. I still wax but this is great for in-between waxes that requires more than tweezing. Once you get the hang of how to use the epilator and your eyes watering it works just as I envisioned! I only wish I had bought this years ago. I purchased it for facial hair and it is all I could have hoped for. It doesn’t hurt and it gets rid of the hairs. This does not cut the hairs. It pulls them out so the results last. I have always had a little mustache, and the older I get, the more "whiskers" I get on my chin (thanks, family genetics). It has a small head so it won’t work well for leg hair or underarms, but if you want to get the outermost areas of your eyebrow, the close hairs around your mouth or nose, this will do it.

This does the best of the 7, (yes, really, 7) I’ve tried over the past 3-4 years. I have both course and fine chin & upper lip hair, dark & white in color (I’m 66). This gets them all for me. Yes it hurts, they all do. So does hand plucking. Maybe I’m just a pansy lol). But No other epilator has done this well. I’d tried heavy duty “full body” capable ones as well as smaller ones, but kept passing on this as probably too delicate. I don’t have a ton of hairs to remove thank heavens, but I’m way past wanting to hand pluck so many. I love this for my face. In my opinion it’s worth the price. I thought the tiny head & so few tweezers would make it less effective but somehow on me it is more effective. I find nothing to complain about with this unit.

I was honestly afraid to use it at first. I have never had waxing on my upper lip and plucking those mustache hairs is a literal pain trying to get all those little hairs. Follow the instructions, wash the area first, and stretch the skin as best you can. I have to say that it still hurt somewhat. The area did get a little red for a few minutes, but overall was fine. With a few swipes of this epilator all hairs are taken out. I also love that it is rechargeable. Please note: This is not a razor! It will pull the hairs out at the root.
